Discrimination-Free Zone – about the campaign

The campaign encourages people to consider what non-discrimination means, what measures could be taken to promote equality within the organisation, and what should be done if someone experiences discrimination.

Discrimination-Free Zone is a campaign to combat discrimination, bullying and harassment. It enables organisations, work communities and educational institutions to express their commitment to the principle of non-discrimination.

The campaign encourages people to consider what non-discrimination means, what measures could be taken to promote equality within the organisation, and what should be done if someone experiences discrimination.

Displayed on the wall of the premises of an organisation, the Discrimination-Free Zone sign tells that the organisation is serious about standing up to discrimination. At its best, joining the campaign may serve as the first stepping stone for creating a more equal organisational culture.

Join us in building an equitable Finland! Declare your organisation a Discrimination-Free Zone.
